SEDI is an electronic system for the filing of insider trading reports. Equity Corporate Services will assist companies in all steps to ensure compliance.

When a company becomes a reporting issuer in any jurisdiction in Canada, that company is required to prepare a SEDI issuer profile so that all insiders of that issuer can submit insider trading reports. Equity Corporate Services assists issuers in preparing the supplemental profile for submission to SEDI.

The issuer supplemental profile is available on SEDI, an insider can then prepare an insider profile. Equity Corporate Services assists insiders with preparation of their profile and with obtaining their access key for submitting insider reports.

After the insider has obtained an access key they can begin to submit the reports through the SEDI system. Equity Corporate Services assists insiders with this step also by reviewing the paper reports when sent to Equity Corporate Services to ensure they are in correct format and then with filing on SEDI in a timely manner.

For ongoing maintenance of the SEDI profiles, Equity Corporate Services will file issuer event notices and update the issuer's security positions as necessary.
